The roots hanging from the ceiling of the crypt were made in a wood workshop run by patients at the Otto Wagner Psychiatric Hospital. The hospital has a long tradition of offering patients the opportunity to work on interesting projects, including architectural models of the church and hospital grounds that were made by patients in the 1920s.
